I’m Kiuyan Ran, a New York–based illustrator and concept artist, creating images for books, games, and visual storytelling.

My work draws on East Asian visual culture and Western illustration traditions, bringing together influences from literature, animation, fashion, and design. Through expressive characters, decorative detail, and atmospheric light and color, I create images that invite a closer look and suggest a story beyond the frame.

Alongside my illustration practice, I’m a Senior Concept Art Outsource Supervisor at Blizzard Entertainment, working on Diablo IV and supporting art production across international teams.

My illustration work spans publishing, games, animation, and theater, with clients including Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, Macmillan, HoYoverse, Tencent, and NetEase Games.
